HOW THE SUBSCRIPTION WORKS
Upon being accepted into Female Founder School, you’ll have access to our 10 Steps from Idea to Launch platform, which includes our online Handbook, Workbook, and Community.
The 10 Steps from Idea to Launch Handbook is our core resource, where you will find all of our educational content. Think of this like a better version of a book - there is reading, in addition to links, videos, and activities. We’ve synthesized the most well known startup literature, generated best practices from successful founders, and added our own content based on our experience working with hundreds of founders, investors, and experts in the field. The aim is to provide you with the most need-to-know information at the right time in an easily digestible “article” format, to make your startup-building process as focused and efficient as possible.
The material in our Handbook is supplemented by our 10 Steps from Idea to Launch Workbook, which contains worksheets designed to guide you through the implementation of all key concepts. The goal here is actual progress - taking your company from A to B. The exercises that we’ve included have been tested and refined through working with fifty plus founders in our in-person accelerator program.
The Female Founder School Community, hosted on our private Slack channel, is where you will connect with other founders, keep up to date on opportunities, and get feedback on your work. You can post questions on concepts and activities and get support from other founders and mentors in the community. You can direct message anyone in the community to ask specific questions or get to know them better. You may find a co-founder, start collaborating, or connect weekly to keep each other accountable. The possibilities are endless when you bring women together!

LAUNCH YOUR COMPANY IN ten approachable steps
You may have heard of the business model canvas or thought about creating a pitch deck. We find the business model canvas to be confusing for early-stage startups. Moreover, pitch decks are a valuable tool for selling your company versus helping you to figure out the right business to build. We believe that these ten steps, in this order, will allow you to make progress most effectively early on and save you time and money in the long run.
